Check out this EARLY 1981 Amazing Spider-Man Daily Comic Strip, dated 2-7-81. Though this strip was drawn at the very beginning of Larry Lieber's run on ASM (just 2 months after John Romita left the strip) it's quite clear to see that all 3 panels with Peter Parker and Aunt May were all drawn by John Romita Sr, as A lovesick Aunt May falls for Dr. Octopus' lies, while a frustrated Peter tries to open her eyes to the deceit of the mad scientist. John Romita would at times touch up ASM strips and even, like this one, draw full strips duringh the first 3 years of Larry Lieber's run on ASM. Art has an image area of 16.2" x 7.25" art board.
