Check out this HISTORIC 1974 2nd Punisher comic book cover EVER! This AMAZING SPIDER-MAN cover was penciled and inked by the great JOHN ROMITA SR, from the story titled: "Return of the Punisher!" This nice cover features a very large drawn image of The Punisher [Frank Castle] shooting his machine gun, as well as drawn images of J. Jonah Jameson, Robbie Robertson, Mary Jane Watson, Flash Thompson, & Harry Osborn holding Spider-Man's mask (as Harry becomes the NEW GREEN GOBLIN at the end of this very issue! The Spider, Spider-Man, Tarantula, & Liz Allen images were added as production stats after John Romita finished drawing the original cover. Those stat images were never originally drawn, and are on an acetate overlay which can be lifted up to show all of the drawn artwork on vellum on board. Just a great cover with 5 major Spiderman side characters drawn with the HUGE 2nd ever Punisher! Compare this nice cover art to the published comic book in the red link above!
