Check out this very nice 1982 cover, which was penciled and inked by the great Joe Kubert, from the story titled: "Surrender Ticket" This amazing cover features Sgt Rock and Easy Company in a ditch surrounded by a dozen Nazis and a Nazi tank as 20 SURRENDER FLYERS fall all over them! What's even more unique about this great cover is the fact that the actual LOGO is a FLYER from the story and it's all hand drawn! every flyer and the flyer Logo for this SURRENDER TICKET story are all hand drawn! Sgt. Rock's hand at very bottom was drawn on separate art paper and glued down on top of an already drawn hand on the art board. The last 8 Bronze Age Joe Kubert Sgt Rock Covers sold by Heritage ( between 2020-2023) have sold for 9000, 13200, 9000, 9600, 11400, 9600, 10800, & 11400. Just a great cover!
