Check out this very nice 1971 Spider-Man BATTLE cover, which was penciled by the great Gil Kane, and inked by the great JOHN ROMITA SR! This great cover is from the classic story titled: "The Wings of the Vulture!" Cover features Spider-Man battling The Vulture! The vulture's wing art is drawn all of the way to the top of the art board under the logo area, and the Spider-Man corner box art has partially drawn areas on it as well. There was magic taped used in spots on the cover that are barely visible to the naked eye on Spider-Man's elbow, hand, and very top of head at bottom of cover. This great cover is SIGNED by the great John Romita at the bottom, and was only the 3rd time that the iconic Gil Kane and John Romita drew a Spider-Man cover together! Their first 2 covers were the ever classic ASM #90 cover (death of Captain Stacy issue) and ASM #101, (The VERY FIRST MORBIUS cover) Don't miss out on this GREAT 1971 Spidey cover, drawn by 2 of the greatest Spider-Man cover artist's, very EARLY in their art team-up careers! The VULTURE was a Great Spidey Villain in the 2017 Spider-Man movie! Compare this great cover art to the published comic book in the red link above! ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! Just send us an email to mikeburkey@aol.com and we can try to work something out.
