Check out this beautiful VERY LARGE Dick Giordano Superman House Ad Illustration from the (1970s) This great image was designed for a published ad that ran in DC books in the 1970s. There may have been modifications before it saw final print but it does have the DC Copyright stamp on back. This VERY LARGE SUPERMAN image is ink over graphite on 17.5" x 22.4" on 2 layers of Bristol board. The top layer of the Bristol board is glued down on the backing board. **** In the bottom right front of cover in faint blue pencil is written: "JOE (Orlando) / Ross (Andru) THIS ONE IS OUT OF STEP. THE FIGURE ISN'T MOVING AND IS COMPLETELY CONTAINED WITHIN THE COVER MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THE BUSTING OUT OF THE COVER LOOK THAT THE OTHERS HAVE.
