Check out this beautiful BRONZE AGE 1978 MARVEL BATTLE Cover, which was penciled by the great Carmine Infantino, and inked by the great Steve Leialoha, from the story titled: "Suddenly... The Shroud!" I don't know exactly why this fantastic Spider-Woman cover was not used, as it looks almost IDENTICAL to the published Dave Cockrum cover (Dave Cockrum Clearly drew his cover based solely on THIS COVER ART! but it's a complete blast and an incredible example of Infantino's artwork in the 1970s for Marvel as Spider-Woman battles the Shroud! The figure of Spider-Woman is fully DRAWN with a stat of the Spider-Woman image placed over the art 1 inch higher, as the editor most felt Spider-woman's drawn image took up too much of the logo area. The missing UPC box has left visible glue residue in that bottom left corner but it also gives us more drawn art to look at on this cover. the cover actually has a Marvel Copyright Stamp of 1978 on the back, and the The reverse side hides a small secret... a blue pencil rough sketch of the Shroud's face brand (Which can be seen in the extra red link above). Just an awesome super detailed "BUSY" Spider-Woman cover here! BRONZE AGE 1970's Marvel Superhero Covers are getting increasingly hard to find, so don't miss out on a great opportunity here to own a TOP NOTCH Bronze Age 1978 Spider-Woman cover! Compare this nice cover art to the published comic book in the red link above!
