This nice strip features Superman in 6 great panels as he is tied down like from a Gullivers Travels story by little men from another planet. We also see Clark Kent in 2 other panels telling the story to 2 friends. Wayne Boring became a definitive Superman artist by degrees -- originally ghosting for Joe Shuster (to lessen the co-creator's workload) and giving Superman an athletic intensity beyond Joe Shuster's stocky conception. This gem is peak-period Boring, subjecting Superman to a Gulliver-like captivity at the hands of a society of tiny, angry men. The emotional surges are strong throughout, with a kinetic energy to match the situation. Boring gets a (signed) byline -- an amenity lacking in his Superman comic-book stories.
