The Rosewood Empire Ice Arena was a labor of love for famed Peanuts creator Charles Schulz. He opened it in 1969 and it came to be known as "Snoopy's Home Ice." This drawing was created from the hand of Charles Schulz & was used in ice rink fliers and newsletters. The drawing is on cut Peanuts strip art board and comes with a 1974 copyright notice on the art from United Features Syndicate. This image was most likely published many times. Snoopy measures 3" tall. Art is accompanied by a letter from the print shop owner who made fliers for the schulz ice rink where this original was found.
