Adventure Comics #81 Huge Cover Re-Creation (Great Sandman & Sandy With Large Hour Glass Battling Thugs!)

Joe Simon is one of the most legendary comic creators of all time -- publisher, editor, writer, talent scout, and artist -- Simon could (and did) do it all. Here he re-creates, in stunning fashion, his actual 1942 cover art for Adventure Comics #81 he inked over Jack Kirby's pencils, from the story titled: "A Drama in Dream!" Great Sandman & Sandy With Large Hour Glass Battling Thugs. The piece is beautifully painted and is faithful to the original. Starman is drawn at top of cover also.
