Don Newton and Alfred Alcala collaborated on this incredible page from the classic story titled: "The Joker Is Wild!" Page features Batman battling THE JOKER with a machine gun, as Vicky Vale takes pictures. The bottom left panel had a stat covering art as the panel was moved In this key issue, Jason Todd became the new Robin for the first time. The Newton / Alcala team worked on a number of Batman stories in the early 80s and their work was consistently strong. Vicky Vale first appeared in Batman #49 in 1948 and is best known for being Batman's love interest in the first Batman movie in 1989.
