In the 1970s, Nick Cardy supplied DC with most of their best cover images, handing in exciting artwork in virtually any genre, ESPECIALLY his superhero covers! This here is a truly tremendous piece, featuring all members of both the Justice League and Justice Society battling a giant metal-gloved hand (which looks a lot like THE INFINITY GAUNTLET, but nearly 20 YEARS EARLIER) in outer space, as Superman, Batman, Hawkman, and Green Lantern (of Earth-1) with The help of The Justice Society of America: Starman, Dr. Mid-Nite, Wonder Woman, & Sandman (of Earth-2) trying to stop "THE HAND THAT SHOOK THE WORLD!" This historic cover and well-remembered team-up story had the two super hero teams trying to reunite the Seven Soldiers of Victory! This 1972 EARLY Bronze Age classic is a must for all Cardy art fans. Tape along both sides has been removed showing glue stains that do not interfere with any drawn artwork.
