Check out this very nice SILVER AGE 1960 Superboy ACTION page, which was penciled and inked by the great George Papp, from the story titled: "The Mystery of Mighty Boy!" George Papp anchored the Superboy series throughout the 1950s and 1960s, just as Wayne Boring and Curt Swan were, by turns, the definitive Superman artists of the midcentury. This splendid page confronts Superboy with a similarly powerful teenager who leads a Superboy-like existence on a distant planet: MIGHTY BOY! Panel 2 has an actual drawn replacement head over Superboy covering another drawn head on the board... Both heads are hand drawn! Compare this great page to the published comic book page in the red link above. SILVER AGE SUPERBOY pages are VERY hard to find in the hobby these days, so don't miss out on a great opportunity here to own a nice SILVER Age page right here! ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! Just send us an email to mikeburkey@aol.com and we can try to work something out. $1,500.00
