Check out this very nice, very EARLY published 1940 Superman greeting card pinup which was believed to have been drawn by the great FRED RAY of the Joe Shuster Studio, who drew more early Golden Age Superman covers than any other artist! There were 9 or 10 cards drawn for this set. A person who has the #7 drawn card for this published set has done research and stated his has been verified to have been drawn by Famous Superman artist "FRED RAY" also. This Pinup features a nice large image of Superman standing outside of a brick wall getting ready to give a young boy and girl some papers! Art is drawn on an 11.25 by 13.8 inch art board, and art has publishing notes at the bottom as well as a published stamp date on back: "NOV 8 1940" Just a neat piece of history here, as this pinup was drawn and published right around the time of SUPERMAN COMICS #6-7! It's AMAZING that something like this artwork has survived to this point in such excellent overall condition! ALL HIGH end pieces of art, including this one, are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payment plan options, and trades are always considered towards this and "ANY" art on our website! Just send us an email to mikeburkey@aol.com and we can try to work something out. $4,400.00
