Spider-Man #6 p 2-3 Double Spread Splash (Very Large) SOLD SOLD SOLD!

Hobgoblin in all his glory and like you have never seen him before! Here is one of the few Double page spreads that Todd has ever done for the Spiderman title. Remember there are no double page spreads done for his run on the ASM title. This also happens to be a title splash and done on two extra large art boards measuring 20 1/2 x 24 1/2 inches. It is a huge piece and probably one of his most detailed images Todd McFarlane has ever done. Notice the batman logos on the pumpkins. There is a tremendous amount of detail from the Hobgoblin to his mask to the people trapped in the goo in the Hobgoblins layer in the background. Everything you see is all hand drawn! There are no stats and incredibly enough, there is no whiteout in the art! The piece is in mint condition. You can tell Todd had a lot of pride and took his time with this piece. There are probably only a dozen double page splashes done by Todd for Spiderman and even less are title splashes and even less then that are done on extra large art boards instead of standard size boards. This is the kind of piece that every time you look at it you will notice some new in it. Check out the Batman Symbols carved into the pumpkins!!! An exceptional and very rare example of Todd McFarlane art at his best!
