Check out this pretty "AMAZING" cover quality Ross Andru penciled and Mike Esposito inked 1977 artwork for the "Mighty Marvel Calendar" for the 1978 November Illustration. Reliving one of Spider-Man's worst memories... His Aunt May actually marrying Doctor Octopus as Spidey's Spider-Sense goes crazy as he watches outside the window of the church! It's a reference to Amazing Spider-Man #131 cover from 1974. The piece from this classic calendar was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an actual image area LARGER than a regular cover, (minus the logo) drawn on 12.7" x 12" art board which was then affixed to a same-sized Bainbridge illustration board.
