Famous Clark Bar Superhero Sweepstakes VERY LARGE Illustration Published in EVERY 1978 DC Comic Book!

If you read DC comics like I did in 1978 you must have seen this published image DOZENS OF TIMES! It's no coincidence that these specific five characters were featured in this ad! It was a great way to get the "Super Friends" in an ad without actually calling them that (licensing issues, most probably). "You Could Win A Trip to Gotham" said the double-page ad that's included with this illustration and is pictured in the red link above. The art was created by Neal Adams' Continuity Studios Associates advertising firm, which utilized many professionals from the comic industry, including Dick Giordano, Joe Rubinstein, Bob Layton, and many more! Produced in graphite and ink on 16.75" x 14" art paper. The image ran as a two-page spread in Green Lantern/Green Arrow #107 and EVERY DC comic book dated August 1978. There is a crease in the upper right marginal corner that doesn't touch any drawn art. Compare this nice art to the published double spread comic ad in the red link above!
