(330) 221-5665 or mikeburkey@aol.com
Check out this beautiful Bob Oksner (attributed) 1963 page! "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis" aired on CBS on September 19, 1959 and continued until September 18, 1963 for a total of 147 episodes. DC Comics bought a license for the property, and began a series of comic books about the self-reflecting Dobie and his slacker pal, Maynard G. Krebs (GILLIGAN) who are both featured on this page along with Mr. and Mrs. Gillis. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13 by 18 inches. The top right corner has been cut going into the corner of the first panel with no art even remotely affected, and there is a very light horizontal crease through center of page. SILVER AGE DC art pages are VERY hard to find in the hobby these days, so don't miss out on a great opportunity here to own a nice SILVER Age 1963 DC page! ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! Just send us an email to mikeburkey@aol.com and we can try to work something out. $1,000.00
