Check out this exceptional 1966 hand-painted studio publicity cel from the Chuck Jones directed television special: "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" This historic and beloved show premiered on CBS-TV December 18, 1966, and has been repeated regularly every holiday season. This particular animation image of the Grinch is unusually large, a full 11 inches tall and it has been triple matted to 13 by 17.5 inches! (scan has shadows and slight glaring but Cell is nice and colorful!)
