This cover right here is quite an anomaly! This cover was supposed to be used for the HISTORIC Flash #275 where the evil Yorkin KILLS IRIS ALLEN! But for whatever reason...this cover was not used, even though it has all of the original logo stats on it as well as it having all of the production notes on back of it from DC Comics as being published! It has a job # of C-101, and a date turned in of 1/5/79 and it even has the original JULY cover stat on the front cover as well as it saying on back it is for the flash #275 JULY issue! This GREAT BATTLE cover features the Flash battling the Evil YORKIN who does kill Iris Allen in this very issue! My guess is...DC wanted to keep the reader guessing as to who KILLS Iris Allen, so they decided not to use this cover and instead, created another cover with Flash dancing with Iris Allen, who is wearing a Batgirl costume on the cover. Either way...this right here is a VERY historic piece and a great 31 year old FLASH battle cover With flash battling the super villain who kills his wife in THIS VERY story!
