Check out this stunning 1988 Spider-Man semi-splash page battling thugs page, which was penciled and inked by the great Todd McFarlane, from the story titled: "Down and Out in Forest Hills!" This nice page features Spider-Man in an AMAZING semi-splash scene in a cemetery battling bad cops who stole money! This splash is VERY similar and was quite possibly Todd's inspiration for his all time classic SPIDER-MAN #1 cover drawn 2 years later in 1990!
