Check out this stunning 1968 SILVER AGE "AMAZING SPIDER-MAN" SPLASH, which was penciled by the great Larry Lieber, and inked by the great Silver Age Amazing Spider-Man inker: Mike Esposito, from the ever classic Silver Age Story titled: "The Parents of Peter Parker!" This awesome SPLASH page finale is from an important story in the history of Spider-Man where we finally learn why he was being raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben. The story of whatever happened to Peter Parker's parents inspired key plot elements in the last two Spider-Man movies, as well as several later comic book storylines. Primary artist on this piece, Larry Lieber is best known as being the younger brother of Stan Lee and for his extremely long run on the Spider-Man newspaper strip. He has both written and drawn for Marvel since the 1950's. Some people claim that John Romita Sr worked on this story as well as the pinups in the back of this book...It's just not true! John Romita Sr is a great artist....And he didn't touch any pages in this book...INCLUDING the pinups in the back of the book! Just a great opportunity here to own a STUNNING 1960's Silver Age AMAZING Spiderman splash! ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! Just send us an email to email@example.com and we can try to work something out.
