Charles Schulz created this charming drawing of Snoopy having a bite to eat, for the Warm Puppy Café, located in the Redwood Empire Ice Arena and known affectionately as "Snoopy's Home Ice." Charles Schulz created a number of specialty pieces for display or advertising, featuring Snoopy, for use by the Café. This one is in ink on an oval-cut Bristol board, which is actually drawn on the back of a pre-printed PEANUTS comic strip art board! (The Peanuts logo and border lines can be seen on the reverse side of the art) The image area is 3" x 5", on a 5" by 7" comic strip board, and while this piece is unsigned, it is clearly drawn by Charles Schulz. Also included is a 1965 Snoopy (as the WWI Flying Ace) print, with printed autograph by Charles Schulz, used in the printing of Snoopy memorabilia items. It measures 5" x 7" and is included with the picnic original art. Click the red link above to see this neat Extra Snoopy print that is included!
